Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
Work on the Databricks platform, applying best practices and contributing to its governance and evolution
Organize and catalog data, ensuring quality, standardization, and reliability
Build integrations between different data sources
Develop solutions on AWS and use Databricks to advance the data platform
Monitor and enhance production pipelines, ensuring reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to meet data needs
Ensure highly reliable data availability with low latency
Contribute to improvements in architecture, best practices, and the continuous evolution of data engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience as a Data Engineer, developing and maintaining production data pipelines
Hands-on experience with Databricks for developing and operating data solutions
Experience with AWS and ETL processes
Knowledge of data governance, data cataloging, and data quality
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Knowledge of Kafka, Kibana, and Elasticsearch
Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams and translate business needs into technical solutions
English proficiency for reading and understanding technical documentation
Databricks certification or other platform-related certifications (a plus)
Experience at high-scale technology companies or fintechs (a plus)
Experience with Data Lakes and modern data architectures (a plus)
Experience working in high-volume data environments (a plus)
Ability to document solutions and share knowledge with the team (a plus)
