About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design end-to-end security architectures for AI agents and AI platforms, with identity at the core
Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for agent identity, MCP and AI gateways, guardrails and secure tool access
Design PAM and identity uplift programs covering human, AI agent and non-human identities
Plan the path from clients' current state to target state
Lead discovery and solution workshops with client architects, security teams and executives
Translate business risk into practical designs
Shape proposals, estimates and statements of work alongside the sales team
Present solutions to clients
Build proofs of concept hands-on to validate designs and de-risk delivery
Act as design authority during delivery, guiding engineers and making trade-off decisions
Connect AI security to governance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework
Track the AI security vendor landscape and provide recommendations to clients and Skillfield's offerings
Work with clients from first conversation through delivery
Collaborate with engineers to turn designs into working solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Substantial experience as a solutions or security architect
Strong grounding in identity and access management (IAM)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), workload identities and Entra Agent ID
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
Experience designing PAM and secrets management solutions, ideally including non-human identities
Practical experience designing or securing large language model (LLM) and agent-based systems on Azure AI Foundry, including Azure OpenAI
Understanding of threats introduced by LLM and agent-based systems
Experience designing on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including landing zones, networking, Azure Key Vault, managed identities and Azure API Management
Working knowledge of API security, API gateways and AI gateways
Strong client-facing skills, including running workshops, writing designs and explaining solutions to executives
