About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Welcome customers in branch and over the phone as the first point of contact
- Ask insightful questions to uncover and understand customer needs
- Provide tailored information and solutions across the full savings range, products, and services
- Listen to customers’ circumstances and goals to support the best outcomes
- Proactively contact customers by phone to identify needs and discuss available support
- Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems
- Identify and support vulnerable customers
- Understand and adhere to policies, standards, and controls
- Support customers face to face, virtually, and through outbound contact
- Promote products and resolve customer problems while delivering first-class service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience interacting with customers, in person or over the phone
- Experience may be in retail, food and beverage, guest services, health/care, contact centre, bank, or building society environments
- Passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond
- Ability to work well alongside others with a one-team mindset
- Ability to react quickly when busy and handle a wide variety of customers
- Excellent time management
- Desire and ability to grow, adapt, and change while accommodating business needs and priorities
