About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage customers in conversations to understand their needs and circumstances
- Provide information about the full savings range, products, and services
- Conduct My Review appointments face to face, virtually, or by telephone
- Proactively contact customers by phone to identify and discuss their needs
- Educate customers about products, services, and communication channels
- Act as the first point of contact for customers in branch
- Tailor relevant solutions while ensuring appropriate outcomes for customers and the Society
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records using internal systems
- Identify and appropriately support vulnerable customers
- Follow applicable policies, standards, controls, and limits of authority
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience interacting with customers
- Customer service experience in person or over the phone
- Passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond
- Enjoy meeting new people and engaging in purposeful conversation
- Ability to work well alongside others with a one-team mindset
- Excellent time management and ability to handle a wide variety of customers when busy
- Desire and ability to grow, adapt and change while accommodating business needs and priorities
- Effective communication skills and ability to influence different audiences through suitable channels
- Openness to a broad range of activities, including those outside standard expectations
