About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support and consultation to customers and sales professionals
  • Conduct farm visits and work directly with customers in the animal production industry
  • Interpret field data and provide recommendations related to nutrition, production, housing, transport, and equipment
  • Support sales activities by identifying customer needs and developing value-based solutions
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, customer training, and educational programs
  • Assist with product trials, implementation, and technical problem-solving
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, product development, quality, and manufacturing
  • Contribute to process improvements, customer communications, and industry outreach activities
  • Maintain technical expertise through ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of relevant technical sales, nutrition, or livestock industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of feed additives, premixes, nutrition programs, and animal production systems
  • Ability to analyze data, identify customer needs, and develop value-based recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence customers and build long-term business relationships
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Passion for delivering results and supporting customer success
