About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain the bottom-up forecast model for DTC and Amazon globally, covering both US and INTL.
  • Own SKU- and channel-level demand forecasts for Calendar, Frame, and Buddy, translating market and operational indicators into SKU-level demand and revenue projections.
  • Account for Amazon Buy Box performance, deal events, advertising, and inventory availability.
  • Account for DTC traffic, conversion, marketing plans, and the promotional calendar.
  • Work with Commercial counterparts to quantify the impact of promotions and price changes on demand.
  • Forecast new product and variant launches, including ramps and phase-outs, with Commercial.
  • Align with Commercial and Finance on the revenue plan and provide the demand forecast informing the marketing spend budget.
  • Partner with the Retail Demand Planner and incorporate retail forecast and performance into ecommerce forecasting.
  • Work with Supply Planning on inventory challenges and opportunities; own the demand signal while Supply Planning owns purchasing and replenishment.
  • Support the monthly S&OP forecast cadence by presenting forecast accuracy and forecast-versus-actual analyses, identifying risks and upside opportunities, and documenting assumptions and scenarios.
  • Maintain logs of demand assumptions and historical-actual adjustments, separating baseline from promotional demand.
  • Build scenario plans when pricing or assortment inputs change.
  • Support Pigment implementation and adoption while improving models, dashboards, and processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-7 years of experience in demand planning, revenue forecasting, analytics or similar for physical products, ideally in an omnichannel company.
  • Hands-on experience forecasting Amazon and DTC, and how stock-outs, Buy Box loss, and price changes distort history.
  • Strong forecasting fundamentals (seasonality, time-series methods, promotional lift) and advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comfort working with data in BI tools (Omni, Looker, Tableau, or similar) to analyze performance and build reports.
  • A track record of partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, and communicating the story behind the numbers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or similar.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Pigment or a similar planning platform (Anaplan, o9, Kinaxis).
  • Experience with international or multi-region ecommerce forecasting.
  • Experience forecasting new product launches, ideally consumer hardware with strong holiday seasonality.
  • Experience with S&OP or monthly demand review processes, and with an ERP such as NetSuite.
