About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with administrators and stakeholders
Develop and maintain automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes
Conduct code reviews and ensure solutions are performant, secure, and maintainable
Support release management, including version control, sandbox management, and deployment through Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines
Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to platform strategy and roadmap planning
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the Salesforce org
Produce technical documentation, including design specs, data flow diagrams, and runbooks
Mentor junior developers and administrators and promote best practices
Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Sales Operations, business stakeholders, and technical teams
Contribute to architectural decisions and shape Salesforce platform evolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
Experience building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architecture
Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Experience developing and maintaining automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes
Experience conducting code reviews and upholding development standards
Experience with release management, version control, sandbox management, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience participating in architectural reviews and platform strategy and roadmap planning
Experience troubleshooting and debugging Salesforce technical issues
Experience producing technical documentation, including design specs, data flow diagrams, and runbooks
Experience mentoring junior developers and administrators
Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification is desirable
Experience with Marketing Cloud development (AMPscript, SSJS, APIs) is desirable
Exposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms is desirable
