About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement robust embedded software solutions for EV chargers and Energy Management systems
- Develop efficient low-level embedded software interfacing with hardware components and power systems
- Create and maintain hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and runtime environment modules
- Write and execute unit tests and functional tests
- Configure, integrate, and verify software modules with system diagnostics protocols
- Produce clean, well-documented code
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maximize product reliability
- Stay current with embedded software trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Sciences with a genuine passion for electronics and embedded software
- Several years of hands-on experience developing, coding, and unit-testing in C and modern C++
- Ideally experience in an Automotive/EV/Energy context
- Proficiency with Git, Jira, and agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices and Jenkins
- Professional experience with firmware development for Embedded 32-bit microcontrollers is a significant advantage
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Interest in and/or prior experience with EV/Energy/Automotive systems and components
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when needed
- Belief in renewable energy and a keen interest in sustainability
