About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design electronics PCBAs for products and test systems
  • Document and validate electronics PCBA designs
  • Participate in safety, EMC and standards testing programs
  • Write test scripts, test, debug and review complete assemblies
  • Verify product prototypes meet quality requirements and standards before mass production
  • Integrate prototypes into demonstration and testing setups
  • Create documentation for suppliers and operations
  • Analyze failing parts after production or in the field
  • Trace failures as part of the reliability program
  • Investigate and test alternative components for existing designs
  • Support component lifecycle management
  • Adjust production test tooling for alternative components
  • Assist with second-line support for production lines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in electronics
  • Experience as an electronics hardware designer
  • Experience in schematic entry and PCB layout
  • Knowledge of EMC testing, signal integrity and generic hardware design principles
  • Knowledge of C# and/or Python
  • Ability to debug and adjust embedded software
  • Ability to use AI to support work activities
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Team-player mindset
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding documentation in English
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
