About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the integrated SME and Bespoke Half-Hourly Channel Sales team
- Deliver profitable acquisition, renewals and partner growth through a single Channel operating model
- Lead three Channel Development Managers and two Account Managers
- Own Channel strategy, TPI segmentation, portfolio allocation, revenue, contracted gross margin, live-rate performance, forecasting and overall team performance
- Work closely with Sales Operations, Commercial, Product, Marketing and Operations
- Build relationships with strategic TPIs
- Ensure effective account and opportunity management
- Drive a culture of accountability, commercial focus and high performance
- Develop team capability and strengthen governance and sales quality
- Ensure the Channel responds to market opportunities and partner needs
- Support the company's journey to digitise, decarbonise and localize the future of energy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven leadership experience in channel, partner or B2B sales
- Track record of delivering revenue, acquisition, renewal and contracted gross-margin targets
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Experience managing senior partner/TPI relationships
- Experience driving profitable growth, retention and share-of-wallet
- Demonstrable experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong understanding of partner segmentation, account planning, pipeline management and forecasting
- Ability to turn strategy into measurable sales outcomes
- UK business energy and TPI market experience strongly preferred
- Confidence using Salesforce/CRM and sales performance data to drive decisions
