About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work across front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure, and test automation
Drive high standards for internal services and maintained open-source tooling and libraries
Frequently deploy service and infrastructure changes in a lean agile environment using full CI/CD
Contribute to idea generation, customer engagement, planning, design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and operational excellence
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and UX researchers
Mentor junior engineers while balancing customer delivery with coding, service, and cloud infrastructure standards
Apply different problem-solving approaches and validate ideas
Define success for yourself, the team, and features conceived, built, and shipped
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient with Java
Familiar with algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices
Experience with distributed systems at scale
Understanding of event-driven architecture principles, advantages, and limitations
Hands-on experience with Kinesis, Kafka, or similar technologies
Experience with Java
Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis
Fluency in English is required
Experience improving large-scale event processing systems is desirable
Experience with database log streams such as MS-SQL Transaction Logs and MySQL Bin Logs is desirable
Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Flink, Spark, or other is desirable
Squad lead or team lead experience is desirable
