About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to release, ensuring quality at every step
Participate in system architecture discussions to design scalable, high-availability applications
Implement new features and improve existing functionality
Maintain and develop service APIs serving millions of users
Collaborate with systems engineers to debug infrastructure challenges
Participate in quality assurance and defect resolution
Work across front-end, back-end, test automation, and infrastructure disciplines
Perform other duties as assigned
Report to an engineering leader

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with programming languages like Golang, Java, C, or Node.js
Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js
Knowledge of Object-Oriented design and Microservice Architecture
Experience with scalable, high-availability applications
Comfort working in Linux command line environments
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
Legally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis
Fluency in English is required
Nice to have: Experience with DynamoDB, MySQL, or other relational and non-relational databases
Nice to have: Familiarity with AWS and Docker, or AWS certifications
Nice to have: Experience with service orchestration tools like Kubernetes or HashiCorp
