About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and deliver landfill and waste infrastructure design projects, including containment cells, capping, lining systems, transfer stations, organic processing facilities, and leachate and gas infrastructure
- Oversee GITA/construction phase services, including contract administration, superintendent roles, quality assurance, and site supervision
- Manage waste infrastructure and other waste-related projects
- Provide engineering input into landfills, materials recycling facilities, resource recovery centres, and other design projects
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Drive business development activities
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Work across multidisciplinary waste and resource recovery projects in NSW
Requirements
What you’ll need- Environmental/Civil Engineering qualifications, or similar
- Minimum 4+ years' experience, ideally within the landfill and waste industry
- Proven project management and client relationship management capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some site-related work experience
- Experience in landfill design or civil infrastructure highly regarded
