About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead overall go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and sales enablement for SmithRx's pharmacy benefits platform
- Shape market perception and educate the industry on a new approach to pharmacy benefits
- Coordinate cross-functional product launches across Product, Clinical Programs, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing
- Develop GTM strategies and transparent messaging for AI-powered products and features
- Build trust with employers, brokers, and members around AI in healthcare
- Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing product marketing team
- Establish differentiated positioning and messaging for brokers, HR leaders, members, and clinical partners
- Create sales enablement programs and product documentation including pitch decks, case studies, battlecards, and solution handbooks
- Set product marketing goals, monitor GTM initiatives, and report campaign performance and product adoption to senior management
- Conduct buyer and end-user research to influence the product roadmap and prioritize feature development
- Oversee competitive analysis and identify strategic opportunities
- Partner with Growth and Brand Marketing on campaign narratives, partnerships, and co-marketing campaigns to drive pipeline and brand awareness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in product marketing
- At least 4+ years in a leadership/management role building and scaling PMM teams for B2B or B2B2C technology companies
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business development, or similar (MBA preferred)
- Proven category creation experience at a disruptive company that fundamentally changed a category
- Experience bringing AI-powered products or features to market
- Ability to craft narratives that build trust, demystify complex technology, and address skepticism in highly regulated industries
- Experience leveraging AI tools to scale marketing operations, content generation, and team efficiency
- Proven ability to craft audience-specific messaging
- Proven track record bringing complex new products to market and driving measurable revenue impact
- Exceptional cross-functional influence and ability to build relationships with Product Management, Sales leadership, and Executive teams
- Maturity and operational agility in a fast-moving environment
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Experience in PBM, health insurance, or digital health highly preferred
- San Francisco Bay Area, Salt Lake City, or Dallas-based candidates preferred
