About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and valet machines to a high standard ready for customer delivery
  • Book machines into the depot, carry out visual inspections and allocate storage locations
  • Manage yard space efficiently and ensure equipment is stored safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment across the yard
  • Load and unload machinery, working closely with transport providers to meet delivery schedules
  • Support courier movements and maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working in a yard, warehouse, transport, logistics or outdoor operational environment
  • Understanding of construction equipment, heavy machinery or similar plant equipment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
  • A full UK driving licence and/or forklift licence would be advantageous
