About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, schedule, conduct, and document internal process and system audits in accordance with audit schedules and QMS requirements
- Document audit findings, nonconformances, observations, and opportunities for improvement and communicate results to stakeholders
- Administer document control processes including routing, revision control, approval workflows, distribution, and obsolescence management
- Maintain controlled procedures, work instructions, forms, specifications, and quality records
- Manage quality system records retention activities
- Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), monitor progress, and support verification of implementation and closure
- Maintain audit schedules, reports, objective evidence, compliance records, and audit databases
- Support customer, certification, regulatory, and third-party audits
- Monitor compliance trends and communicate recurring issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to Quality leadership
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on audit effectiveness, document control, compliance performance, and QMS maturity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or related field required
- ISO9001 Internal Auditor Certification required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality, compliance, auditing, manufacturing, or related environments
- Experience supporting quality management systems and internal audit programs
- Experience working in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated industries preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, and quality management principles
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment for prolonged periods
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift office materials up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move throughout office and production areas as business needs require
- Proficiency using quality management systems, document control software, Microsoft Office applications, and business systems
- Ability to travel 0-10% of the time based on business needs
