About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the design, build, support, and implementation of the Budget and Spend (BAS) solution
Develop new features and enhance existing features of the BAS web application using SAP Analytics Cloud Analytics Designer
Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAP Analytics Cloud or other web technologies such as JavaScript
Review application requirements and interface designs
Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components
Monitor and improve front-end performance
Document application changes and develop updates
Provide feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize web applications for scalability and speed
Participate in code reviews and communicate with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (Software Engineering, Web Development) or equivalent job experience
5+ years of software engineering experience working across front-end web technologies
Advanced understanding of JavaScript
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
Knowledge of REST APIs and experience creating and consuming APIs
Ability to work with XML and JSON data formats
Experience in Object Oriented Programming/Design, web development, and debugging
Strong programming skills
Public Trust clearance
U.S. citizenship required to maintain federal clearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Selected applicant may be subject to a background investigation and/or education verification
SAP Analytics Cloud experience
Experience with Federal, State, Local, or Higher Education organizations
Understanding of SDLC, lean, and agile practices
Familiarity with Business Objects (BOBJ)
