About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop image signal processing (ISP) pipelines for next-generation computational imaging platforms
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across optics, sensors, computer vision, and compute teams
  • Influence key architectural decisions and drive consensus on critical trade-offs
  • Develop test methodologies and characterization plans for camera ISP performance
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for sensor performance issues
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, suppliers, and outside resource management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in computational imaging for computer vision applications
  • Experience with computational imaging, computer vision, and machine learning for image processing
  • Experience developing and optimizing ISP and machine learning algorithms for camera products
  • Experience with non-traditional image sensors including single photon detectors, event sensors, and neuromorphic sensors
  • Knowledge of optics and camera systems for imaging, depth mapping, and biometric sensing
  • Knowledge of image quality and ISP pipelines
  • Skills with software development and data analysis using C++, MATLAB, Python, or similar tools
  • Skills leveraging AI models to accelerate engineering workflows and software development
  • Ability to work independently and manage internal and external resources
  • Ability to consider system-level impacts and tradeoffs in a highly constrained platform
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
  • Travel up to 15%
