About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support music-based creative tools and the Partnerships Operations team globally
  • Manage the content rights landscape, including music, for record labels, music publishers, and Performing Rights Organizations
  • Manage content ingestion practices (DDEX), digital supply chain operations, publishing clearance, and metadata
  • Ensure compliance with reporting obligations and key provisions of complex licensing agreements
  • Manage third-party service providers
  • Contribute to content management system architecture and development
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation and tooling
  • Partner with technical teams to improve accuracy and reduce turnaround times
  • Resolve complex partner issues, including revenue discrepancies, reporting issues, and product-related concerns
  • Investigate root causes and drive timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal on initiatives, launches, and policy changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 9+ years of experience in global business operations, partnerships operations, rights management, digital media, music, technology, or related strategic roles
  • Positive relationships with major and independent music content owners
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a proven track record for solving complex problems
  • Ability to work across multiple groups, including product, engineering, legal, and other XFN teams
  • Bias for action in a lean work environment
  • Moderate proficiency in SQL preferred
  • Passion for the business of music preferred
