About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop product vision, strategy, and roadmap for safety, law enforcement, and regulatory compliance product areas
- Define goals and own performance against key business metrics for community safety and law enforcement compliance
- Identify and size opportunities to improve features using data insights, user research, and design thinking
- Drive team roadmaps and execution end-to-end, from planning and design through development and launch
- Author documentation and share insights and results throughout the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand regulatory and compliance requirements and define solutions to meet obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
- Ability to define features and requirements, prioritize, and deliver results in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, operations, data science, and other cross-functional teammates
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with A/B testing
- Ability to define goals and success metrics
- Creative, system-level problem-solving
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to convey complex topics to diverse stakeholders
- Interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
- Ability to initiate projects, execute objectives, and communicate analysis results clearly
- Ability to develop AI-first approaches to complex problems at scale
- Preferred: domain experience in trust and safety, anti-abuse, or regulatory compliance
- Preferred: Product Management experience on a consumer product
- Preferred: hands-on experience writing complex SQL and performing descriptive and predictive analytics
- Preferred: BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field
- Passion for Snapchat
