About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and support existing Workday modules, including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Learning
Build out and optimize the Workday ecosystem
Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing across teams
Handle projects from design to implementation, often setting direction with minimal leadership aid
Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues
Create advanced reports using complex calculated fields
Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity
Train and mentor junior configuration specialists
Create functional and technical systems documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or closely related, or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field
3+ years of Workday configuration experience with Workday modules
Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and interact with team members at all levels
Ability to work well under general supervision
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Workday Payroll Certification preferred
