About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report into the Operations Manager
Deliver customer-centric, high-quality, value-for-money property maintenance and improvements through a team of circa 12+ in-house trades and external contractors
Lead operational delivery of property services workstreams across residential and non-residential portfolios
Focus mainly on planned works involving roofs, windows and doors, plus responsive repairs as required
Set direction and role-model expectations within the team
Support team and individual performance through robust feedback
Deliver safe and timely outcomes for customers through trades operatives
Maintain high-quality data within property systems
Maintain safe working practices in line with Health and Safety legislation and CDM
Develop detailed local knowledge of customer, asset and investment needs
Engage and work with residents and groups to develop co-created services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience of managing a direct labour workforce focused teams for the delivery of maintenance services
Demonstratable knowledge of planning the delivery of workstreams in a customer focussed environment
Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets
Ability to deliver a value for money service and mitigate risks to SNG
Commercial acumen
Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, with focus on compliance
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
Willingness to travel
Access to a car
Full UK driving licence
Successful candidate must undergo a Basic DBS check
