About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of environment art for one of Snowprint Studios’ new projects
- Create stylized environments, props, and items
- Assemble assets in Unity to procedurally set-dress, light, and build clear, immersive worlds
- Create larger structures and smaller environmental details that support gameplay and player experience
- Collaborate with the Art Director, Designers, Tech Artists, and Concept Artists
- Ensure environments are visually coherent, performant, and aligned with gameplay needs
- Perform hands-on Unity work including set-dressing, lighting, scene setup, and performance considerations
- Drive environment art forward, make decisions, experiment with approaches, and improve quality continuously
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Environment Artist with a proven track record of shipped games, preferably handheld/mobile
- Proficient in modular workflows, set dressing, lighting, and scene optimization
- Artistic skill in creating performant stylized 3D assets
- Fluent in Unity and 3D modelling tools
- Experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter is a plus
- Self-driven, takes ownership, and communicates clearly across multidisciplinary teams
- Player-focused and passionate about making great games
- Professional-level English
- Currently located in Stockholm, Sweden; no relocation offered
- Portfolio demonstrating set-dressed, lit, and composed stylized environments with self-created props
- Detailed description of individual contributions recommended for collaborative portfolio work
