About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement technical concepts for mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, and reorganizations at system and data level
- Plan, design, implement, and maintain SAP solutions following best practices throughout the solution development life cycle
- Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure solutions meet client needs
- Prepare detailed technical specifications
- Manage solution setup, programming where applicable, testing cycles, documentation, go-live, and post-go-live support
- Enhance knowledge of SAP systems, enterprise solutions, products, ABAP programming where applicable, and new SAP technologies
- Support presales activities
- Mentor, coach, or train consultants by sharing business or technical expertise
- Improve internal tools and create functionality improvement specifications, test scenarios, and tests
- Implement projects using standard SNP Transformation software
- Coordinate migration projects in SAP and non-SAP environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership skills
- Accountability to deliver agreed tasks with acceptable quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency
- Knowledge of SAP-provided tools for analyzing data volume at table and system level
- Fundamental knowledge of and implementation experience in SAP SD
- Fundamental knowledge of and implementation experience in SAP FI/CO
- Fundamental knowledge of and implementation experience in SAP MM
- Active participation in presales activities, customer meeting preparation, and proposal preparation
- Experience in ABAP, development activities, and development support during large implementations
- Experience in data migration projects, including extraction rules, mapping rules, data validation and reconciliation, and cutover planning
- High drive, self-motivation, and team-player orientation
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of relevant consulting experience preferred
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent in English
- Must live in the United States
- Preferred experience with SAP DMLT Migration/Conversion Tools, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP LSMW, CBS Migration/Conversion Toolset, or Syniti Migration/Conversion Toolset
- Experience with SAP data migration/conversion projects
- Experience with SAP implementation or SAP upgrade projects
