About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver short- and long-term business results across product lines and sales channels
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create and own P&L forecasts
- Communicate financial results with action-oriented insights
- Drive FP&A and reporting through strategic planning, budgeting, and long-range financial initiatives
- Develop and support business plans for profitable and sustainable growth
- Prepare forward-looking financial models and investment decision analyses
- Provide external perspective on customers, suppliers, competitors, and the industry
- Identify opportunities and capabilities aligned with the business model and strategy
- Partner with department leads on collaborative budgeting and performance-driven initiatives
- Improve processes, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and improve financial information quality and timeliness
- Lead and coach cross-functional partners while participating in day-to-day execution, problem-solving, and critical deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication
- Track record of being accurate and detail oriented
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, respond quickly, and smoothly adjust to changes
- Able to establish processes, make process improvements, and effectively organize own work
- Experience using ERP systems to identify and extract the right data for meaningful analysis and insights
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet expected goals within stated timeframes
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment and across functional groups
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost accounting principles
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Pre-employment drug testing and background check required
