About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct CDS inspection surveys in line with client specifications
Complete training before carrying out unsupervised surveys
Apply health and safety measures and adhere to method statements, work instructions, and risk assessments
Collaborate with the management team to understand and meet project deliverables and quality requirements
Participate in pre-project programme reviews to agree workload outputs and quality levels
Deliver CDS surveys according to client deadlines and quality expectations
Participate in regular audits covering 1% of CDS surveys
Maintain open and honest team communication
Engage in structured site interactions and actioned feedback
Support colleagues and maintain a positive, cooperative working environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Good level of written and verbal communication skills
Strong map orientation skills
Ability to operate Apple products, particularly iPads
GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C level or above)
Background in a relevant field/industry
Knowledge of the specific sector/regulations
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team
Ability to follow health and safety measures, method statements, work instructions, and risk assessments
Willingness to complete comprehensive training before carrying out unsupervised surveys
