  • Share updates and digests with Product Marketing, Legal, Engineering, Support, and RevOps
  • Pull target launch dates from roadmap tools such as Aha! or Jira
  • Establish criteria for entering the launch checklist process, typically 6–12 weeks before launch
  • Adapt Product Operations systems and tools as tracking views are automated and operational systems mature
  • Ensure executive leadership has accurate launch status visibility
  • Ensure checklist items are assigned, dated, visible, and progressing
  • Drive recovery plans and escalation for at-risk items and blockers
  • Scale the launch cadence across major releases and new capabilities
  • Provide commercial and field teams with timely visibility into launch timelines and feature availability
  • Prove the value of the senior IC role and eventually build and lead a team tracking launch health across strategic initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or cross-functional tech operations inside product or engineering teams
  • Proven experience running effective accountability rhythms (recurring reviews, status dashboards, operating cadence) that build trust and drive results through influence
  • Demonstrated success managing or building a team of contractors and FTEs from the ground up
  • Comfort working with product roadmap tools such as Aha! and Productboard
  • Experience with issue tracking software such as Jira and Linear
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic analytics
  • Good understanding of product and software development lifecycles across different launch scales
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Clear written communication style for leadership and partner teams
  • Ability to establish practical, hands-on processes and identify opportunities to automate and scale
  • Experience managing cross-functional go-to-market workflows across Legal, Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Engineering preferred
  • Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, or another fast-moving technology space preferred
  • Experience building a team or operational function from scratch preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or connecting commercial data with product planning tools is a bonus
