About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the roadmap, definition, and launch of proactive identity notification products from beta through general availability
  • Define the customer-facing event contract, notification contents, lifecycle semantics, and consumption model
  • Design a systematic customer feedback loop
  • Define gaps in data coverage and requirements for candidate data sources
  • Run hypothesis-driven evaluations measuring incremental lift and make buy, build, or walk-away decisions
  • Specify licensing, retention, and derivative-use terms needed by the product
  • Manage data-source KPIs, renegotiation decisions, and source retirement
  • Define and instrument KPIs including coverage, precision, and recency
  • Build internal benchmarking independent of customer-reported feedback
  • Set KPI targets using competitive benchmarking and customer research
  • Quantify subscriber value to inform pricing and positioning
  • Use SQL and analytics tooling to interrogate data
  • Partner with platform engineering on identity-signal resolution, merging, publication, and architectural tradeoffs
  • Shape a reusable notification mechanism for future event types
  • Balance latency, cost, and refresh cadence against customer value
  • Define subscription pricing, packaging, and commercial terms
  • Recruit and work with early adopters and design partners
  • Manage beta and GA phases and coordinate cross-functional readiness and testing
  • Build positioning, marketing plans, and sales enablement with Product Marketing
  • Serve as the field's internal subject matter expert
  • Research competitive performance, customer acceptance thresholds, and risks of incorrect high-stakes identity signals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in product management
  • Preferably experience in identity verification, fraud prevention, data products, or other data- and ML-driven products
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating, acquiring, and operationalizing acquired data
  • Experience designing tests that isolate incremental lift and making source selection decisions
  • Strong understanding of APIs, SQL, databases, event-driven architectures, and product architecture
  • Comfortable writing queries and defining measurement methodology, including precision, recall, and coverage benchmarking
  • Experience serving as the product voice in data or technology vendor negotiations
  • Knowledge of licensing, retention, and derivative-use terms
  • Experience taking a product to market, including pricing, packaging, beta programs, and launch
  • Ability to balance technical complexity, customer needs, regulatory constraints, and business impact
  • Experience working directly with customers, especially in complex or high-stakes environments
  • Ability to explain complex technical and data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and go-to-market teams
  • Familiarity with GLBA and FCRA preferred
  • Experience with entity resolution, identity graphs, or record-linkage systems preferred
  • Experience building a subscription or usage-based data product from zero to first revenue preferred
