About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead activation of new buildings from the ground up through completion
Provide technical oversight, CFT leadership, and commissioning support for engineering projects increasing capacity, throughput, and productivity through technology
Collaborate with the Project Manager on project activities, timelines, and goals
Provide permitting support and ensure on-time building launch
Serve as the local engineering and technical expert on-site
Address engineering challenges and implement solutions
Ensure effective integration and operation of supply chain automation technologies
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to install and activate automation systems according to specifications
Support the Sr. Engineering Project Manager with project progress, timelines, and budgets
Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate status, risks, and mitigation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt or a related field
Understanding of supply chain automation technologies and their implementation
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Strong communication skills to liaise with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders
Ability to travel as needed to support project activation activities on-site
Ability to travel site to site, up to 80%
Supply Chain or Logistics Internship/Coop preferred
