About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead activation of new buildings from the ground up through completion
  • Provide technical oversight, CFT leadership, and commissioning support for engineering projects that increase capacity, throughput, and productivity through technology
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate project activities and timelines
  • Provide permitting support and ensure on-time building launch
  • Serve as the local engineering and technical expert on-site
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams and contractors
  • Address engineering challenges and implement solutions
  • Integrate and operate supply chain automation systems in new buildings
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure automation systems are installed and activated according to specifications
  • Support the Sr. Engineering Project Manager with project progress, timelines, and budgets
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt or a related field
  • Understanding of supply chain automation technologies and their implementation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel as needed to support project activation activities on-site
  • Willingness to relocate to the current site
  • Ability to travel from site to site, up to 80%
  • Supply Chain or Logistics Internship/Coop preferred
