About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Category Manager in driving growth and profitability of assigned categories
  • Facilitate promotions processes across publications and channels
  • Work with suppliers to ensure promotion expectations are met
  • Administer supplier income, billing, and reporting
  • Set up new lines and suppliers accurately and on schedule
  • Develop customer-facing planograms with the planogram team
  • Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely manner
  • Support day-to-day operational aspects of category assignments
  • Maximize digital channel opportunities across B2C and B2B
  • Administer annual retail and wholesale promotional plans
  • Manage Agreement Sheets administration
  • Facilitate category sourcing projects with the sourcing team
  • Report regularly on category performance
  • Contribute to category sales, gross profit, inventory turnover, and GMROI KPIs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 Years of Category leadership experience desired, in a fast paced organization – ideally a multi site distribution or retail business
  • Strong administrative and time management abilities
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline preferred
