About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide sourcing and procurement services to clients under limited supervision
  • Manage the entire sourcing and procurement cycle from sourcing and purchasing to settlement
  • Source competitive suppliers for raw materials, utilities, and other services
  • Ensure material availability in the supply chain and maintain inventory at minimum acceptable levels
  • Monitor inventory requests, production schedules, and purchase requisitions to coordinate purchasing activities
  • Collect supplier quotations, examine bids, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery standards
  • Negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships
  • Procure products from a predefined list of suppliers
  • Review inventory recommendations and anticipate products required to fill customer orders
  • Manage assigned inventory lines, including inventory parameters, committed stock requirements, new item setup, overstock, vendor returns, pricing, quotes, products, and promotions
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies and invoice mismatches
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturer representatives
  • Provide global purchasing services in support of the business unit
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, statistics, analytics, or a related field and five (5) or more years of experience or an equivalent combination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Powerful presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint design knowledge
