About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance operations
- Install new equipment in accordance with technical instructions
- Commission equipment and train customers where necessary
- Prepare quotations
- Carry out repairs in accordance with the technical procedures applicable to the equipment
- Return equipment under warranty to the supplier in accordance with the applicable procedures
- Retrieve the parts required for installations or repairs from inventory
- Order specific parts from the procurement specialist
- Report to the Regional Field Service Manager
- Contribute to the sector’s revenue growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education qualification in industrial maintenance or electronics (two-year post-secondary degree)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the automotive or industrial sector, in a maintenance or field service technician role
- Broad knowledge and skills in electronics, electrical systems, IT, HVAC/refrigeration, and mechanics
- Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office
- Certifications/training provided after hiring: SRV039 & Réglophare, CAPELEC, MULLER, BOSCH
- AFQ certifications with AG & OPA, EOBD, and accelerometer training at CAPELEC and MULLER
- R134a and R1234yf air-conditioning and electrical certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a practical, hands-on approach to the role
