About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, and primary support of Intel platforms within the enterprise technology environment
- Maintain Windows and Linux servers, VMware/ESX infrastructure, storage, Active Directory, O365, applications, and endpoint systems
- Troubleshoot general IT issues and provide tier 3 support
- Provide support and administration for O365 products
- Perform VMware maintenance and configuration
- Maintain and support multiple application packages
- Upgrade, install, and configure application software and hardware
- Develop and maintain platform diagrams and network documentation
- Ensure Business Continuance plans remain viable and meet company goals
- Create and manage system permissions and user accounts
- Handle complex problems across multiple technology platforms
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
- Comprehensive hands-on knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems; OpenShift preferred
- Foundation in programming languages
- Strong problem-solving and problem determination skills
- Experience with VMware virtualization technology
- Experience with O365 products
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Linux shell and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with IT infrastructure hardware, including servers, switches, SAN fabric, and mid-range platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, business analysts, and testers
- Knowledge/experience of cloud architecture methodologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Experience resolving recovery procedures and using operating systems and systems performance-monitoring tools
- Experience with IT infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, LAN, firewalls, and security updates
