About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the overall process vision and innovation within Motion IT
- Help lead the product development process and work with cross-functional teams
- Identify customer, stakeholder, and development team needs
- Gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints
- Manage development projects from start to finish
- Manage complex products through the entire lifecycle through product End of Life
- Make key decisions for product/solution development lifecycle processes
- Contribute innovative ideas to program risk management and drive mitigation and resolutions
- Drive consistent and accurate cross-functional program metrics
- Design program management practices and mentor members of the product management organization
- Contribute product management expertise internally and externally
- Review and prioritize the backlog for sprint planning, including coordinating dependencies
- Analyze impacts of proposed solutions across the business and develop use cases explaining business requirements to IT
- Contribute a business process perspective during design reviews
- Own, develop, and execute the product roadmap
- Collaborate with business owners, product scrum teams, and stakeholders to establish timelines, workflows, and goals
- Participate in design sessions to understand end-user and customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and eight (8) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination
- Experience with Sage FAS, IBM PAC, Blackline, BillTrust, SAP Concur, or CoStar preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify, analyze, and synthesize product use data and use that data to drive decisions
- Solid understanding of the competition and business environment
- Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication skills

- Financial and analytical experience
