About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with preparation and coordination of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy Statement, and Section 16 filings
- Assist with preparation and coordination of separation-related SEC filings, including Form 10 and amendments
- Assist with preparation and analysis of the statement of cash flows and supporting schedules
- Support preparation of earnings releases, investor presentations, and related disclosure materials
- Maintain the SEC reporting calendar and coordinate inputs from cross-functional stakeholders
- Support responses to SEC comment letters and related research
- Research accounting, financial-reporting, SEC, and regulatory developments and support implementation
- Assist with adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements
- Analyze financial and operating metrics for financial statement, SEC, and external disclosures
- Support internal and external audit activities and coordinate audit deliverables
- Assist with SOX compliance activities, including control documentation, evidence gathering, and request coordination
- Support development of reporting policies, procedures, calendars, templates, and governance documentation
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, investor relations, and other cross-functional teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of Accounting or Finance experience or an equivalent combination
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and SOX internal controls preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements
- Ability to work hands-on and collaboratively in a team environment
- CPA certification preferred
