About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate with subsidiaries, Real Estate, and leased equipment suppliers to update lease accounting data in CoStar
Prepare monthly lease accounting journal entries
Perform monthly and quarterly lease accounting controls
Participate in developing, enhancing, and governing company-wide accounting policies, including revenue recognition under ASC 606
Support quarterly and annual reporting processes for technical matters
Serve as a key liaison with internal and external auditors for audit requests
Support enterprise-wide finance initiatives and special projects
Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting
2+ years of accounting experience
Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Embody company values of service, performance, influence, respect, innovation, and teamwork
Audit experience preferred
Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft preferred
Experience with CoStar Real Estate Manager preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment preferred
Ability to work on-site four days per week
Willingness/ability to work occasional extended hours during peak periods
Occasional light lifting up to 25 pounds
