About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Test new technologies, propose architectures, conduct proofs of concept (POCs), and participate in technical discussions with internal teams and vendors
Work in multidisciplinary agile squads, contributing to the entire solution development lifecycle
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and batch processing workflows using Python
Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science teams to build and optimize data workflows
Develop, test, and enhance applications and data integrations
Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries
Participate in the automation of integration tests and ensure the quality of deliverables
Manage and version-control code using Git
Work with relational databases (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
Explore and implement new technologies that contribute to the evolution of the data platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in back-end development using Python
Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
Knowledge of developing and consuming RESTful APIs using JSON
Experience with AWS services for cloud-based solutions
Proficiency in Git for version control
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
Knowledge of MongoDB
Advanced SQL skills
Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle
Experience with agile methodologies and multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Experience with or knowledge of Denodo
Knowledge of Power BI
Experience with data architecture and analytics platforms
Experience working on projects related to risk, finance, or regulated environments
Experience with React
