About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems
  • Analyze data transformations, mappings, and complex business logic
  • Stress-test ETL/ELT processes from ingestion to output
  • Create and maintain test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases
  • Help establish data products and integrate them into marketplace and reporting suites
  • Engage with Data Engineers and Product Owners to clarify requirements and embed quality from the start

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including the capability to create complex queries for data validation and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in testing business processes from a data-centric viewpoint
  • Skilled in data analysis with the ability to interpret data, detect patterns, and identify inconsistencies
  • Practical experience in managing testing tasks using Jira
  • Experience in the Custody, Securities, or Financial Services sectors is considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS is a plus
  • The capability to develop and maintain automated tests based on SQL is also regarded as beneficial
