About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a Legal Business Partner to the company’s executive departments and strategic areas
- Structure, negotiate, review, and manage highly complex domestic and international contracts
- Work with software licensing agreements, technology services agreements, cloud infrastructure, SLAs, and related matters
- Ensure and oversee compliance with the LGPD, GDPR, and other applicable local regulatory requirements
- Manage and mitigate legal risks
- Draft and review corporate documents, minutes, articles of association, shareholders’ agreements, powers of attorney, and governance instruments
- Advise the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership, and other governance bodies
- Support legal structures for international expansion, subsidiary formation, and corporate reorganizations
- Prepare legal opinions and risk assessments to support executive decision-making
- Participate in the development of corporate policies, internal standards, and governance instruments
- Support Compliance, Corporate Ethics, internal investigations, and risk management initiatives
- Coordinate specialized legal matters with external law firms in Brazil and abroad
- Improve internal Legal Department processes, focusing on efficiency, standardization, and innovation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Strong experience in Corporate and Contract Law
- Experience with corporate governance
- Experience negotiating complex contracts, preferably involving technology, software, or international business
- Advanced or fluent English for writing, reading, and negotiation
- Excellent legal drafting skills in Portuguese and English
- Advisory mindset, with a strong business orientation and the ability to interact with executives
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Corporate Law, Corporate/Company Law, Contracts, Compliance, or related fields is a plus
- Experience in technology, software, or SaaS companies is a plus
- Experience with international operations is a plus
- Knowledge of intellectual property, software licensing, and data protection is a plus
- Intermediate or advanced Spanish is a plus
