About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across Azure and Cloudflare
Oversee PostgreSQL database operations and automate database-related tasks
Deploy and configure message queues for data processing and service communication
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Enforce RBAC and infrastructure security best practices for compliance
Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues with minimal service disruption

Requirements

What you’ll need

Power BI: semantic models, DAX, report definitions authored as PBIP with .pbix deployment, incremental refresh, query folding, and troubleshooting model performance issues (e.g., refresh/XMLA timeouts)
Azure Synapse: notebooks, pipelines, triggers, and workspace management; source-side query optimization
Strong SQL for data validation, transformation, and troubleshooting
PowerShell scripting, including common modules such as Az and MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt
Familiarity with Azure Functions/function apps and CI/CD deployment workflows
Experience with Azure DevOps work item tracking
Experience with Git/GitHub, branching, and pull requests
Senior-level experience preferred
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
