About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join the External Web team responsible for the architecture, creation and ongoing enhancement of the client's digital web presence
Develop new system components required to deliver the External Web team's goals
Modify existing system components
Work with the team, Principal, Delivery Lead and Project Manager to estimate solution delivery effort
Write high-quality code according to agreed standards
Take full ownership of assigned tasks
Drive task delivery by obtaining answers and coordinating people and resources
Engage with delivery team members, scrutinise solutions and contribute ideas
Curate technical documentation
Engage with business users

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with C# .NET Core API development
Experience with React
Experience with SQL
Experience working in a containerised environment (Kubernetes / Docker)
Understanding of Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of modern design/development principles (OOP/DRY/SOLID/YAGNI)
Experience with GIT
Whole development life cycle experience, including analysis, database design and development
Focus on maintainability, robustness and performance when implementing solutions
Experience with agile methodologies
Ability to communicate well with business stakeholders and end users in collaboration with Business Analysts to establish requirements
Ability to build positive working relationships throughout the department and company
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and ability to explain or document ideas
Ability to collaborate independently based on initial business requirements
Ability to drive delivery of solutions
