About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and deliver complex Experimental Flight Test projects and activities on time
- Manage cross-functional teams to establish project scope, schedule and budget
- Work with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers and customer representatives to ensure project adherence and compliance
- Establish methods and priorities between projects and activities
- Identify and report risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution
- Participate in or coordinate internal safety and security processes to assess, contain and correct potential product deficiencies
- Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirements and resource allocation
- Prepare and present visibility reports for various organizational levels
- Coordinate and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience
- 10–12 years in project management or Aerospace
- Advanced knowledge of Project Management processes and principles
- Previous experience in development and certification Flight Test
- Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities
- Natural leadership and proactive attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic and results oriented
- Ability to work willingly and independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make good decisions to meet or exceed targets
- Good computing skills, proficient in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
