About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support VDOT’s tolling modernization program
- Gather and document business and system requirements for microservices, APIs, and modernization workflows
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and operations in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Use Azure DevOps Boards
- Provide light QA validation
- Ensure clear communication across stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Local to Virginia candidates only
- Prior State or Federal client experience
- 7+ years of business analysis/system analysis experience
- Experience gathering and documenting API and modernization requirements
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps Boards
- Ability to create user stories and acceptance criteria
- SQL interpretation skills
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Microservices experience desired
- Regulatory/compliance experience desired
- Tolling/transportation experience desired
