About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the patient journey and advocate workflows
  • Analyze advocate utilization, caseloads, and supply/demand balance to support operational staffing
  • Design, build, and maintain Hex dashboards that automate manual reporting
  • Provide self-serve metrics access to Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance
  • Partner with engineering to maintain clean and reliable data models
  • Refine SQL and dbt transformations
  • Turn technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences
  • Explain trends and recommend actions to leadership
  • Work with structured and semi-structured healthcare operational data, including nested JSON
  • Use data to drive operational improvements, workflow optimization, and resource allocation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, including time in healthcare operations
  • Understanding of healthcare operations, including intake, scheduling, caseloads, and SLAs
  • Advanced SQL and Snowflake
  • Strong experience designing interactive dashboards and reports
  • Experience with Hex or similar notebook-based BI tools; Looker, Tableau, or Metabase experience is valuable
  • Experience working with messy structured and semi-structured data, including nested JSON and unstructured datasets
  • Ability to use AI for SQL and analysis and validate its output
  • Root-cause analytical skills
  • Ability to explain complex data concepts to operators, product managers, and executives
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Applicants must be based in the United States
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
