About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct detailed reviews of moderately complex contracts, identifying risks, opportunities, and critical clauses to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business objectives
Provide legal counsel to internal teams, helping mitigate risks and supporting decision-making on contractual and corporate matters
Lead the management and resolution of out-of-court claims involving internal clients, suppliers, and partners
Draft legal opinions, notices, legal inquiries, and other legal instruments, applying sound technical reasoning and business insight
Review and validate drafts and documents prepared by external law firms
Develop new documents and review existing templates, ensuring objectivity, clarity, and legal certainty
Participate in strategic corporate projects by assessing legal impacts and proposing solutions
Serve as the contract focal point for internal teams and support the development of legal solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, including automation, contract management, Legal Operations, and digital transformation
Support the Legal Department’s leadership in defining strategies, managing risks, and disseminating technical knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Law
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with CLM tools and an understanding of technology applied to law, such as Legal Design, automation, and the use of AI
Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing moderately and highly complex contracts in legal departments or law firms
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Contract Law, Corporate Law, Digital Law, Compliance, or related fields (preferred)
Knowledge of and experience with SAP, Netlex, or similar contract management platforms (preferred)
Experience working for large companies or in high-demand environments with multiple stakeholders (preferred)
Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:18 p.m.
