About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Further develop the Kubernetes platform on Azure using Terraform and Helm
- Design CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security scanning, and deployment across multiple environments
- Take responsibility for the platform’s security, monitoring, and operational readiness
- Develop backend services, for example in .NET, Go, or NestJS
- Support frontend development with Angular or React as needed
- Develop services to be testable, deployable, and operable from the outset
- Gradually migrate existing applications to the new platform
- Share knowledge and empower the team to use the platform independently
- Work directly with the Engineering Lead and executive management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in software development and DevOps / Platform Engineering, with genuine responsibility in both areas
- Production experience with Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
- Helm
- Experience with CI/CD, ideally Azure DevOps
- Production development experience in at least one language: .NET (C#), Go, or TypeScript (NestJS)
- Strong knowledge of Azure or a comparable cloud platform
- Build security considerations into development from the outset
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Willingness to take on a hybrid software and DevOps role
- German is not required
