About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control the technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects
  • Determine technical skills and staff hours required for successful project completion
  • Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to project team members
  • Prepare activity reports and documentation for clients and project management
  • Prepare notices and change-order documentation
  • Determine and manage schedules and budgets for assigned project proposals and closeouts
  • Monitor progress and manage material logistics
  • Interface with procurement and subcontract personnel to coordinate office and field activities
  • Support customer relationships at a professional and technical level, including questions, evaluation requirements, and system design
  • Set goals for field management, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Manage performance, productivity, and work quality to complete projects on time
  • Order and coordinate material and equipment delivery
  • Implement and enforce company and contractual policies, safety standards, and installation best practices
  • Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings
  • Apply advanced techniques and analyses across multiple disciplines and projects involving drilling pile installation, racking installation, module installation, quality control management, and related SDI Services obligations for solar PV projects

  • 4-year degree in Construction or related field from an accredited university, or minimum of 7 years' experience, or equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics consistent with the required qualifications
  • PMP preferred, but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Frequent travel is expected
