About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a consultative wound healing expert and primary contact for hospital wound care decision makers
- Consult with clinicians on the safe and effective use of Solventum products
- Attend procedures and placements in hospital care settings
- Deliver business growth against sales targets through account and territory management
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities
- Educate clinicians through inservicing on Solventum products
- Build and maintain relationships with clinical and economic stakeholders
- Use clinical and economic evidence to grow therapy adoption and support new product introductions
- Persuade stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products
- Provide customer support and service
- Complete sales training and demonstrate proficiency
- Use company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums
- Work in a field-based role with up to 10% anticipated overnight travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 years of sales and/or clinical experience OR High School Diploma/GED AND 9 years of sales and/or clinical experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Successful completion of a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review
- Ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- May need to possess facility-required licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications
- Track record of sales quota and target attainment
- Prior wound care, OR, or medical device sales experience
- Experience establishing customer relationships with key influencers, such as surgeons
- Experience in territory management and business planning
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas
- Customer-focused selling and closing experience
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles
- Completion of a formal sales training program
- Experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce
- Experience with new product introductions and the value analysis process
- Outstanding data and analytical skills
