About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead teams and cross-functional partnerships with surgeons and operating room stakeholders to accelerate adoption of Restrata® and related products
  • Develop and execute area business plans to achieve revenue targets while managing expenses and sales-to-expense ratios
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team through communication, field engagement, performance reviews, and professional development
  • Recruit, select, and build a sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and laws governing interactions with healthcare professionals
  • Provide senior leadership with insights on sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and field-driven improvement opportunities
  • Travel up to 80% in the field with representatives, customers, and sales professionals, including some weekends and overnight travel
  • Support Acera and Restrata wound care technologies designed to improve patient outcomes and surgical efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 5+ years of sales experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales or medical field sales
  • OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 9+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales or medical field sales in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in commercial and federal facilities required
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy and insurance requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • May need to possess licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials required for facility entry
  • Preferred: previous medical device sales experience calling on surgeons and supporting surgical cases in operating rooms
  • Preferred: 1+ years of formal leadership experience
  • Preferred: experience managing time and priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: strong interpersonal and communication skills, people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination
  • Preferred: analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Preferred: relationships with physicians and surgical staff
  • Preferred: negotiation, selling, presentation skills, Microsoft 365, and Concur
